My dog -- who is spending the night at the animal clinic -- and I thank you.

(He should be fine. Based on how long it took him to react, he probably didn't get that much of it, and they're giving him muscle relaxers and the antidote.)

A dish of beer works just fine for attracting slugs, so I imagine it would work on snails too. And it's a better death than pouring salt on them.

My roommate's dog got into some once. She gave it hydrogen peroxide, which made the dog throw up, and she was fine.

Poor puppy! I hope he's okay.

Thank you! They haven't called me tonight (which is good), so hopefully I'll hear good news when I call tomorrow morning.

And that's interesting about the beer. I should look into those things, so I can pass it on to others.
