I felt the exact same way about Public Enemies. The previews made it look witty, clever and zingy and it just... wasn't. "Eh" is spot on, which is really disappointing. We blamed the fact that they tried to tell both Dillinger's story and the story of the FBI guy - if they had picked one to focus on, it might have tightened things up.
