Doc Update!
Doc is back home this morning, and doing just fine! It can take dogs a couple of days to recover, so he must not have gotten much of it at all. He's now curled up next to me and looking adorable.

Oh! And also, there was an earthquake last night, which I did feel. The bookshelves and cabinets shook, and I was wondering what on earth the neighbors could be doing. Turns out it wasn't the neighbors.
